Booking Terms

Important details on deposits, payments, and cancellations for your Emeraldoor retreat.

DEPOSITS, PAYMENTS, AND CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Booking and Deposits

To secure your reservation at an Emeraldoor wellness retreat, a deposit of £200 per person is required at the time of booking. This deposit is strictly non-refundable and covers initial administrative, planning, and venue commitment costs.

2. Payment and Installment Schedule

The full remaining balance of the retreat price must be paid at least sixty (60) days prior to the official retreat start date. Failure to remit full payment by this deadline may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking and the forfeiture of your deposit.

3. Cancellation by the Guest

If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify Emeraldoor LLP in writing. The following cancellation charges apply based on when notice is received:

  • More than 60 days before the retreat start date: You will receive a 100% refund of any subsequent balance or installment payments made, excluding the £200 non-refundable deposit.

  • Between 30 and 60 days (inclusive) before the retreat start date: You will be entitled to a 50% refund of the total booking price paid.

  • Less than 30 days before the retreat start date: No refunds will be issued for any deposits, installments, or balance payments made.

We strongly advise all guests to take out comprehensive travel and event insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations.

4. Discretionary Variations on Compassionate Grounds

Emeraldoor LLP reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to vary, reduce, or waive these cancellation charges in exceptional circumstances or under compassionate grounds (such as sudden medical emergencies or bereavement). Any such variance is evaluated on a strict case-by-case basis, will be treated as a one-off goodwill gesture, and does not set a precedent for future bookings or other guests.
